Sometimes it’s easy to forget sharing small projects or adding them to our portfolio. But when backing-up my computer’s hard-drive to make room for a few large projects, I came across this little gem.
It’s a poster for a SlowFood Atlanta event focusing on fermentation used in food preservation. These small projects often allow us near complete creative freedom and the chance to use quirky fonts we’ve fallen in love with. The downside is often a quick turn-around, in this case less than an hour. But if we can squeeze it in, we love the challenge.

GRANDE EURO
After a few weeks of having an iPad 2 it is finding a place in my daily routine. Though it has its limitations for design, it’s a great light-weight alternative to a laptop for project management.
But one of the surprising uses is as an artistic tool. I’ve used it for sketching and illustration. This is an illustration created for a design inspiration blog called GrandeEuro.com. Though the blog is still a work in progress, I thought I’d share the illustration created for the home page.
